About two months ago we purchased two Continental Airlines tickets for $1300.00 each. Well, Sunday I was out an about just surfing and I jumped on Continetal’s website to see what the fare was now. To my surprise it was less than half of what we had originally paid. No knowing what to expect we called Continental to see what we could. Our tickets were non-refundable, so we could not cancel them and purchase them at the lower fare. Finally after asking them representative five or six times if there was anything we could do. The rep proceeded to tell us that we could receive a voucher for the difference, we would only have to pay the re-booking fee. The re-booking fee was $200.00 per ticket. So after 30 minutes on the phone with another rep and $400.00 later they finally agreed to send us our reimbursement vouchers.
Now, I gotta think of a place where to go…….
